Hunter Street Apartment Building
369 Hunter Street West is a brand-new, three-storey, 18-unit purpose-built rental apartment building in the Avenues area of Peterborough. This apartment building construction features a wood-framed structure that sits over concrete foundations, designed as a modern, energy-efficient low-rise with high-quality interior finishes and full life-safety systems. With an approximate construction value in the range of 6–8 million dollars, this project reflects typical per-unit costs for new, high-end low-rise multi-residential developments in Ontario, much like the careful planning seen in poultry barn design and theatre safety upgrades.
The Kaakesteegt Barn
This project involves the construction of a new 72‑by‑400‑foot poultry barn design in rural Brighton, Ontario. The insulated, wood‑framed building features steel exterior cladding and a bright, clean interior liner, creating a modern, durable environment for commercial chicken production. The construction value is estimated to be in the range of 1.2–1.8 million dollars, which is comparable to some apartment building construction projects. Additionally, the commitment to safety in this poultry barn aligns with the standards seen in theatre safety upgrades.
The Capitol Theatre
The Capitol Theatre project is a specialized safety upgrade to the historic performing arts venue in downtown Windsor. As part of our commitment to theatre safety upgrades, we designed a new cold-formed steel catwalk, stair, and ship-ladder system to provide safe access to overhead stage and technical areas while respecting the heritage interior. The approximate construction value of this upgrade package is about 300,000 dollars, which is comparable to costs seen in apartment building construction and other specialized projects like poultry barn design.
